Sebastian Vock

Sebastian Vock graduated from the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt with a M.Sc. in Mathematics. He received his PhD from the  Freie Universitaet Berlin and was supervised by Catherine Cleophas, RWTH Aachen University, and Natalia Kliewer, Freie Universitaet Berlin. His doctoral work was sponsored by a Deutsche Lufthansa AG fellowship.

His research interests are mainly concerned with the study of flexibility and long-term orientation in Airline Revenue Management. In particular he studies the impacts of customer-choice related to flexible products. He worked with Dr. Garrow on the application of descriptive data analyses and cluster analyses to airline ticketing data to deal with market segmentation.
